According to TMZ Hip Hop, the 63-year-old rapper 'commonly waits to board after everyone else because people want to take pictures with him and he doesn’t want to hold up the boarding process.'

AceShowbiz - Flavor Flav was caught ranting against a Spirit Airlines employee after missing his flight. The incident was upsetting enough for the rapper that he refused to apologize for his words toward the agent.

In a video obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, the 63-year-old could be seen using out a gate agent after he missed his flight. The incident reportedly took place inside the Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas on Thursday, November 10 around 11:30 P.M.

According to the outlet, "Flav commonly waits to board after everyone else because people want to take pictures with him … and he doesn’t want to hold up the boarding process." It was also said that the employee opened the gates for other passengers but closed it on the emcee and two others.

Offering his side of the story, Fav told TMZ, "Spirit Airlines shut the door on me while I was in line to board. I was upset and said some harsh words to the gate agent." He added, "I apologize to those who witnessed me acting out of character, [but] do not apologize to Spirit Airlines or the gate agent."

Meanwhile in an Instagram comment, he emphasized, "Y'all need to get your story straight. The flight was oversold and I was in line to board with two people in front of me and two people behind me and they just shut the door." He further explained, "I got upset when they opened the door and let other people board."

This arrived a few weeks after Flav celebrated two years of sobriety. As a result, he shared an Instagram video and stated, “Guess what? I am two years no cigarettes, two years no alcohol. You know what? I feel real good y’all."
