AceShowbiz - Shakira sparked outraged after she reportedly jumped 90-minute queue at Halloween in Barcelona, Spain. According to a new report, the "Waka Waka" hitmaker and her kids cut to the front of the line at the Tower of Terror ride over the weekend, angering other parents who had been queueing for more than an hour.
Journalist Silvia Taules, who witnessed the incident, claimed to Spanish site Socialite that the Colombian singer appeared suddenly with her two children, Milan (9) and Sasha (7). They arrived with a security guard who helped sneak them in.
Taules said, "They began to separate everyone, and Shakira appeared with her children and two security agents and they sneaked in." She added, "Despite people crying out, Shakira doesn't flinch. The organization said that they let in whoever they wanted."
It was also said that the singer's attitude "horrifies all the attendees," adding that "everyone was outraged." The reporter continued, "What kind of example is that for her kids? That from such a young age, they learn that they can cut in front of everyone when it's not necessary."
Taules also posted on Twitter a picture featuring the Super Bowl halftime performer at the venue with her kids. In the snap, Shakira was seen wearing contact lenses to change the color of her eyes as she dressed as a cheerleader.
It's been a rough year for Shakira, who is in the midst of a contentious breakup and custody battle with Barcelona FC player Gerard Pique. "We regret to confirm that we are separating," the former couple announced in a statement in June. "We ask for privacy at this moment for the well-being of our children, who are our maximum priority. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect."
Following the split, the 35-year-old athlete has since moved on with 23-year-old public relations student Clara Chia Marti. In addition, Shakira is facing up to eight years in jail after authorities accused her of tax fraud.
