AceShowbiz - Tom Brady has been spotted for the first time since finalizing his divorce from Gisele Bundchen. In his first public sighting, the NFL star was seen taking his kids to the movies in Florida.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and his kids, 9-year-old Vivian and 12-year-old Benjamin, were photographed by paparazzi at the CMX CineBistro in Hyde Park, Florida on Friday night, October 28. In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the newly single dad seemed solemn and quiet as the family traveled back to their car after the show.
During the outing, he rocked a gray sweater, white pants and a baseball cap, while carrying a camouflage bag. His children also enjoyed a laid-back style as they sported slip-on shoes and baggy clothes.
Gisele filed for divorce on October 28 after 13 years of marriage, citing that the union was "irretrievably broken." The former couple finalized the divorce on that same day. They have agreed on a marital settlement agreement, which will remain confidential, per the documents.
According to court documents, the now-estranged couple took a "family stabilization" course before finalizing their divorce. In the paperwork, it's explained that each completed a "Parent Education and Family Stabilization" course. Tom reportedly finished the four-hour course on October 25 while the Brazilian beauty completed it on October 26.
Both Gisele and Tom issued statements on social media shortly after news broke of their divorce. Taking to her Instagram Story, the 42-year-old catwalk star wrote, "My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart." Many believe that she actually threw shade at Tom, who allegedly chooses his football career over his family.
"We have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this," Gisele continued. She, however, noted that she feels "blessed for the time we had together and only [wishes] the best for Tom always."
Tom added in his own statement on Instagram that he and his now-ex-wife had made the "painful and difficult" decision "after much consideration." He also noted, "We only wish the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written."
