AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt isn't likely to make things with Emily Ratajkowski official and public anytime soon. The Hollywood actor is said to be keeping his relationship with the model low-key fearing that his ex Angelina Jolie will use it to turn his kids against him.

But Emily, who recently filed for divorce from her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard amid claims he had cheated on her, may understand Brad's decision. In fact, the rumored lovebirds are currently in a similar situation as they're both in the midst of messy public breakups.

"Brad has quietly dated the last couple of years. He worries that Jolie will badmouth him to their kids, more than she already has, if he has a serious girlfriend," a source tells Page Six. Another source dishes that Brad and Emily are "very casual" at the moment.

Similarly, PEOPLE reported that the 58-year-old actor and the 31-year-old model "are spending a lot of time together," but a source claimed that "friends aren't sure if it's serious." The informant noted that the two don't "appear to be 'dating' formally."

Page Six previously reported that Brad has been spending time with Emily, who shares a 1-year-old son with her estranged husband. "People have been speculating about this for a while. Brad is not dating anybody. They (Brad and Emily) have been seen a couple times together," a source told the site.

The outlet went on stressing that the "Ad Astra" star and the "Blurred Lines" music video vixen have also been "seen with other people" in recent months and that he's not dating "anyone in particular." While the report didn't mention where the rumored lovers were spending time, Brad was in Paris on Sunday, September 25 and Emily last week traveled from her home in New York to Italy for a fashion show.

Despite keeping things low-key, Brad is apparently head over heels with Emily as he allegedly "thinks she's the hottest thing on the planet." A source told In Touch (via Life & Style), "They totally gel," but added, "It's still very early days and they're having fun."
