AceShowbiz - Meghan Trainor is speaking her truth about her viral sex shop pictures. On Wednesday, September 28, the "Dear Future Husband" hitmaker made use of her TikTok account to explain the pictures while taking part in the "Super Freaky Girl" story challenge on the platform.
"One thing about me is that four years ago I went into a sex shop and got paparazzi'd with my husband named Daryl… and it was embarrassing," the singer hilariously rapped to Nicki Minaj's hit. She was referring to the moment when she and husband Daryl Sabara were spotted at a sex shop back in 2018.
She then clarified, "Not what you think, no it wasn't - it wasn't for us. I mean we get pretty freaky, but not like too much." She went on to say that the sex shop purchase was actually for a friend who "was too shy to get a vibrator and lube, so I bought it for her."
Meghan also poked fun at her husband's interesting choice of footwear for the outing. "But the sad thing was my husband decided to wear his feet shoes and the paparazzi got a picture of it. Oh No!" she said of the "Spy's Kid" actor. "The world saw and it was after a workout. We didn't look good. We kinda looked sad."
The pop star, who looked cozy in a pair of black leggings and a hot pink zip-up jacket, continued rapping in the hilarious video, "And it went viral and my mother was pissed!" The "All About That Bass" singer noted that despite everything, "it was worth it in the end" because her friend "had good sex."

Meghan previously talked about the viral snaps in an interview with Refinery29 in 2018. "This is the honest truth: I went for a friend. It sounds so dumb. It's so true," the singer shared. "I went for a friend because she didn't want to go to the store. I was like, 'I'll do it. I've been to the store, it's great. It's a great store.' And did I pick stuff up for me? Yeah. While I'm here, let's grab a few things."
"They give you those black bags, and even if you buy the tiniest thing, you're gonna get that bag," she elaborated. "So they're like, 'Whoa! What a huge bag she had.' When I don't have a giant, humongous thing in here that I'm gonna go use with Daryl, but I got a few little cute things. And one for my friend."
