The former basketball pro, who was married to Shaunie O'Neal from 2002 to 2011, says on his podcast that he hopes the singer and Nia Long's fiance 'do not lose their families over what was done.'

AceShowbiz - Shaquille O'Neal made such an honest confession when addressing Adam Levine and Ime Udoka's cheating scandals. When offering his two cents, the NBA legend admitted that he used to be a "serial cheater" himself.

"I was a serial cheater," the 50-year-old said in the latest episode of "The Big Podcast with Shaq". He then added, "It would be crazy and blasphemous for me to get up here and say, 'Boom, boom, bam.' I can't do that."

Of Adam and Ime, Shaq claimed he knows "these guys personally." He further detailed, "I know they're going through a lot because I went through a lot."

While he's not proud of his cheating back then, Shaq doesn't mind letting the world know about his past. "I'm never the guy that's going to get up here because of my platform and fake it," he said. "I did it. I was the best at it. I'm not proud of it."

"I lost my family doing it and I lost valuable and important years with my children from doing it," the father of six continued elaborating. "So, I refuse to get up here and be like 'You shouldn't do this, you shouldn't have done that' ... I'm not that guy. I'm real with the situation."

Shaq eventually realized that cheating isn't worth it. "The happiest days of my life were coming home and hearing six different people say 'Daddy'. Happiest days of my life," he reflected. "Forget the money, forget the cars, even forget the championships. When I lost those days, I was all the way down. When I lost that from being stupid it killed me."

The former basketball pro, who was married to Shaunie O'Neal from 2002 to 2011, hopes his friends to learn from his mistakes. "I wish these two fellas the best," he pointed out. "And I hope they do not lose their families over what was done."

Ime, who's been engaged to Nia Long, was suspended from the Boston Celtics due to his alleged affair with a female staff member. As for Adam, who is married to Behati Prinsloo, he was first exposed by Instagram model Sumner Stroh before other multiple women came up with similar affair allegations.
