In the new outing, the celebrity dancers and their pro partners hit the ballroom to dance on Elvis Presley Night which is divided into Young Elvis era, Hollywood Elvis and Vegas Elvis.

AceShowbiz - The contestants of "Dancing with the Stars" season 31 returned in the Monday, September 26 episode. In the new outing, the celebrity dancers and their pro partners hit the ballroom to dance on Elvis Presley Night which was divided into Young Elvis era, Hollywood Elvis and Vegas Elvis.

Kicking off the Young Elvis era were Jessie James Decker and Alan Bersten, who danced a Foxtrot. Len Goodman told her that her legs were stronger and it was an improvement from last week. Derek Hough also praised Jessie for "a huge improvement" that she showed this week. The judges gave the pair 25 points out of 40.

Later, Jordin Sparks and Brandon Armstrong took the dance floor to dance a Quickstep to "Hound Dog". Carrie Ann Inaba told Jordin that she didn't have to be a dancer when she started, but she just had to be willing to become one. Bruno Tonioli, meanwhile, said that while the performance was bright and lively, it had a few incidents. The pair got 27 points out of 40.

Dancing a Viennese Waltz to "Heartbreak Hotel" were Sam Champion and Cheryl Burke. Carrie Ann said he brought the sultry to the ballroom and was leading the dance. Len, meanwhile, applauded Sam for looking more confident compared to the first night. The pair earned 26 points out of 40.

As for Shangela and Gleb Savchenko, the pair danced a Quickstep to "Shake, Rattle and Roll". Following the performance, Carrie Ann said she's sharp and commits to every movement. Derek, meanwhile, said that Shangela was fantastic to watch all the time. Shangela received 28 points out of 40.

Teresa Giudice later danced a Jive with her partner Pasha Pashkov. Carrie Ann noted that she loved her focus on improving her dancing, but her performance was a little heavy-footed. Len echoed the sentiments, saying that it was bright and lively, but there were too many faults in her leg action. He added that she wasn't sharp enough in her kicks. The judges gave "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star 23 points out of 40.

For Hollywood Elvis part, Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart danced a Jive. Bruno was quite satisfied with the performance as he said that he thought he was going to find something wrong, but he didn't. Len also praised Daniel and Britt as they looked tight and together in the performance. The pair got 29 points out of 40.

Dancing a Viennese Waltz were Gabby Windey and her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy. Carrie Ann compared their chemistry to the one that Val had with season 20 champ Rumer Willis. Derek called their performance stunning, though he reminded her to watch her shoulders. Gabby got 32 points out of 40, the highest score so far.

Up next were Vinny Guadagnino and Koko Iwasaki who danced a Quickstep for the night. Len loved it, saying that Vinny went all in and it paid off. Bruno called Vinny a contender, while Derek claimed he was in control and owned the performance. Vinny was given 27 points out of 40.

Charli D'Amelio and Mark Ballas continued impressing the judges as they hit the dance floor with a Quickstep. Derek loved how Charli's personality shined with Bruno noting that it looked effortless. Len, meanwhile, criticized her frame. The pair got 32 points out of 40.

Dancing a Jive were Selma Blair and Sasha Farber. The actress shocked everyone when she did a split. Carrie Ann claimed that Selma made it look so much easier than it must be for her. Len, meanwhile, praised the choreo. The judges gave the pair 28 points out of 40.

As for Vegas Elvis, Cheryl Ladd and Louis van Amstel opened it with a Tango. Bruno praised her attitude but he noted there were a lot of mess-ups. Len, meanwhile, called it a proper Tango and she made him happy. Cheryl earned 21 points out of 40.

Later, Joseph Baena danced a Viennese Waltz with Alexis Warr, who replaced Daniella Karagach after the latter tested positive for COVID-19. Bruno said he had wonderful lyricism in his arms. Derek added that it could have been a catastrophe, but it wasn't. The body-builder son of Arnold Schwarzenegger got 24 points out of 40.

Dancing a Foxtrot to "Suspicious Minds" were Heidi D'Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev. Carrie Ann revealed that she saw trust developing, while Derek wanted Heidi to put more feelings into her performance. The pair earned 28 points out of 40.

Meanwhile, Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater danced a Rumba. It was such a show-stopping performance as Derek began his commentary with, "What in the heck?!" He added that he loved the dance. Before Len got to share his judgement, Tyra Banks sent the couple off before she called them back over. Len said that Trevor had transformed from a caterpillar to a butterfly tonight. Trevor got 30 points out of 40.

Dancing a Jive to "Burnin' Love" were Wayne Brady and Witney Carson. Bruno could see that Wayne was on fire and that he gave his all. Derek said it was the best kicks and flicks of all the Jives tonight. They got 32 points out of 40.

Later, it was revealed that Cheryl & Louis and Teresa & Pasha were in the bottom two. The judges could only save one of the pairs and they decided to keep Cheryl & Louis on the competition. That meant Teresa and Pasha were eliminated.
