AceShowbiz - Bad Bunny has brought a wide smile to a Uvalde shooting survivor. During his recent show in Dallas, the "Diles" hitmaker met Mayah Zamora backstage and even gave her VIP treatment.

In a photo shared on Instagram by the Correa Family Foundation, the 28-year-old was seen embracing the young girl as they posed for the camera. One picture, meanwhile, showed the musician signing a T-shirt for her.

"A huge thank you to @badbunnypr for welcoming our Hero of the Month, Mayah Zamora, to your concert, and for making sure she had a beautiful and fun night dancing with her family!" so read the caption of the post. "All the love she received from you and your team @noahassad @rimas made this an incredible experience she and her family will cherish."

Mayah was named the August Hero of the Month by the Correa Family Foundation. Of the title, the organization explained in a Facebook post, "Mayah has suffered unimaginable hardship this year after losing many of her closest friends and two beloved teachers during the Robb Elementary School massacre in Uvalde, Texas."

"She was severely and critically wounded herself," the organization went on elaborating. "While hospitalized, she continued to amaze doctors with her resiliency and strength. All doctors, from her trauma team to plastic surgeons, were in awe of her. It is a true miracle that she survived all of her injuries, which included a severe wound to her chest."

"All in all, she underwent 20+ surgeries and remained hospitalized for 66 days," it added. "Although these past few months have been the most difficult of her young life, Mayah's incredible courage and bravery have helped her persevere."

That aside, Bunny has been enjoying his success since the release of his latest album, "Un Verano Sin Ti". The record returned to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, scoring its 10th nonconsecutive week atop the list. It topped the list after earning 99,500 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending September 8, according to Luminate.
