AceShowbiz - It looks like Young Thug is trying to get rid of boredom in jail. The "Go Crazy" rapper, who has been behind bars awaiting trial on RICO charges, recently asked random questions to Michael Phelps on Twitter.

The emcee posed the hypothetical question on Wednesday, August 31. "I'm talking with my roommate and we're wondering if you could swim 100 miles from the middle of the ocean back to shore," he wrote, tagging the Olympic gold medalist.

The tweet has caught the intention of Michael, who simply replied, "Yeah. I think I could make it," adding a swimmer emoji. Seemingly not satisfied with the answer, Thug asked again, "How long do you think it would take?"

In other news, the YSL Records founder reportedly welcomed a daughter. According to Gossip of the City, the emcee has become a father again after his alleged baby mama gave birth to a baby girl on Monday. News of the baby's arrival was apparently first shared by Thug's mystery baby mama herself via social media, on which she revealed the birth date and her daughter's name, Clover Phoebe Williams.

Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, has yet to confirm the news. The rapper himself has been in prison since May 9 after he got arrested in Atlanta on gang-related charges as part of a 56-count Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) indictment that included 27 other people associated with YSL. Fellow rapper Gunna was among them.

Thug was charged with seven additional felonies related to possession of illegal substances and illegal firearms following a search of his home. On August 18, he showed up for a hearing during which he was denied release on bond for the third time.
