AceShowbiz - Ari Lennox has a new offering for fans. Hours after releasing a new collaboration single with Summer Walker called "Queen Space", the Dreamville Records artist unveiled a surprise EP, "Away Message".
The 31-year-old announced the new track via Instagram on Wednesday, August 31. Posting an audio clip, she gushed, "I'm so excited to share this special moment with you guys. 'Queen Space (prod. by @elitethatsme)' with my sis @summerwalker is out now."
Later, Ari dropped the EP. Aside from "Queen Space", the project consists of four other songs, including, "Tatted", "Gummy", "No Settling" and "Bitter". In the accompanying message, Ari wrote, "Off the internet until 9/9 so here's my away message to you all. New EP to hold you over until the album, love ya."
The R&B singer, whose real name is Courtney Shanade Salter, has previously shared the cover art for her upcoming album. Alongside a photo of her striking a seductive pose above the water, she penned, "Verified my new album, age/sex/location, is available everywhere sept 9."
This might be great news for Ari's fans. Back in June, the "Pressure" singer declared that she will no longer be performing at shows that required her to fly. "For my mental health and sanity, I will not be doing any shows that require me to fly," she noted on Instagram Story.
I can not keep torturing myself with this huge fear of mine. It is literally destroying my health. Enough is enough," the musician added. "I'm so sorry to all that are inconvenienced by this. Don't know what this will mean for my career but I just can't do it."
Ari, however, declared that she wants to overcome her aerophobia. "If there's any peers or anyone out there who knows of a great hypnotherapist, therapist and or ear of flying solution I would be so grateful. I want to beat this," she stressed.
