At the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor announces that her upcoming album titled 'Midnights' will be released on October 21, the same day as Kim's birthday.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian seemingly wants no more bad blood with Taylor Swift after they were involved in a heated feud a few years ago. On Sunday, August 28 at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor announced that her upcoming album "Midnights" will be released on October 21, the same day as Kim's birthday.

While many believe that the pop star was trying to reignite their beef, a source close to "The Kardashians" star told HollywoodLife.com that she "doesn't see this in any negative way whatsoever." The insider added that the reality star is "so glad all that bad blood is behind them."

The so-called inside source also added that Kim feels "what happened in the past is the past" and that "Kim has moved on from this a long time ago." The informant continued, "[Kim] wishes Taylor nothing but success and happiness." In addition, the source said that the SKIMS founder "really loves" Taylor's music.

Taylor and Kim's years-long beef began after Kim's ex-husband Kanye West released his 2016 song "Famous", in which he raps, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b***h famous." He was making a reference to his infamous behavior at the 2009 MTV VMAs, during which he interrupted Taylor's speech.

Taylor was upset over the lyric, but Ye claimed that he had spoken to her and she gave the song her blessing. "To all my Southside N***a that know me best, I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex," Ye told Taylor. In response, the pop star said with a laugh, "That's not mean."

However, when the song was released, one of Taylor's representatives said that the singer was not aware of the lyrics. Defending Ye, Kim called the "All Too Well" hitmaker a "snake" for claiming she had "no idea" he would call her a "b***h" in the song.

The feud, however, seemed to be over as Kim said that she's a fan of Taylor's songs. "I really like a lot of her songs. They're all super cute and catchy. I'd have to look in my phone to get a name," the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum said during an interview with "Honestly With Bari Weiss" podcast in December 2021.

The divas' feud aside, Taylor turned to her Instagram page on Sunday to share more details of her new album. She wrote, "Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight." She further teased Swifties that her upcoming album "is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams."
