After the 'Blank Space' singer announced that her new album 'Midnights' will arrive on October 21, fans notice that the day also happens to be the reality TV star's 42nd birthday.

AceShowbiz - Is there still bad blood between Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian? Fans have reacted to the country-turned-pop superstar's "messy" move after announcing that she'll release her new album on the TV personality's birthday.

The Grammy Award winner first shared the news about her new music at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 28. When receiving an award for Video of the Year, she told the audience, "I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand new album comes out October 21. And I will tell you more at midnight."

Upon hearing the news, Swifties were quick to notice that the album's release date happens to be the same day of Kim's upcoming 42nd birthday. "Taylor Swift announcing a new album on the 13th anniversary of the Kanye West VMA sh**show, 5 years after the premier of LWYMMD at the VMAs, which will drop on Kim Kardashian's birthday is ICON behaviour," one reacted to the news.

Another gushed, "oh taylor's releasing on kim's birthday? WE LOVE TO SEE HER BEING MESSY." A third shared the same excitement as writing, "ok but the fact that Taylor is releasing a new album on October 21st which is Kim K's bday while announcing it in a similar dress to the one in the LWYMMD music video is blowing my mind!!!"

A fourth fan similarly commented, "It's been 13 years since THAT Kanye-Taylor moment at the VMAs and now Taylor decides to announce her brand new album with 13 tracks at the VMAs today that will be released on October 21st which also happens to be Kim K's birthday. HER MINDDDDD!!!"

Taylor and Kim's years-long feud started after Kim's then-husband released his 2016 song "Famous", in which he raps, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b***h famous." He was making a reference to his infamous behavior at the 2009 MTV VMAs, during which he interrupted Taylor's speech.

Taylor was upset over the lyric, but Ye claimed that he had spoken to her and she gave the song her blessing. Defending the rapper, Kim called the "Shake It Off" hitmaker a "snake" for claiming she had "no idea" he would call her a "b***h" in the song.

The feud between Taylor and Kim, however, seemed to be over as in December 2021, the SKIMS founder opened up about her favorite Taylor song. "I really like a lot of her songs. They're all super cute and catchy. I'd have to look in my phone to get a name," she said during an interview.

Meanwhile, Taylor further shared details of her new album called "Midnights" via her Instagram account. She wrote, "Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight."

"This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams," she added on her post. "The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching - hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve… we'll meet ourselves."
