Working with the Death Cab for Cutie frontman is such a dream come true for the 22-year-old songstress since she is such 'a huge fan' of him and his rock band.

AceShowbiz - Noah Cyrus has released a new joint single with Ben Gibbard called "Every Beginning Ends". On the track, the "July" songstress touches on her parents Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus' split.

"You have to wake up every morning/ And choose to love someone," the younger sister of Miley Cyrus and the Death Cab for Cutie frontman harmonize in the chorus. "But I'm finding that harder the more that I'm falling out of love with you."

Working with Ben is such a dream come true for Noah since she's such "a huge fan" of him and his band. "That was such a surreal experience," she told Rolling Stone. "I've always been such a huge fan, so it was pretty daunting to get in the room with him, but once we got to work it all came very naturally... We talked about past relationships, failed relationships, our parents' relationships and relationships that have lasted forever."

"He told me his dad has a saying, 'You have to wake up and choose to love someone every day,' and it sparked this conversational song about the twilight of a relationship and the reluctance to admit that something has run its course," she went on explaining. "I relate to that in many ways, not only with me, but also just with my parents' relationship. Writing about that gave me more understanding."

Ben, for his part, elaborated, "I kept coming back to it and just basking in her brilliance. It's easy to be mysterious. It's easy to be aloof." He added, "It's easy to be cool. It's so much harder to be earnest, and it's so much harder because she's really opening herself up with a lot of these songs."

As for Noah's parents Billy and Tish, they confirmed their separation in April. "It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways," so read the statement shared to PEOPLE. "Not with sadness, but with love in our hearts."

"We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths," Billy and Tish continued. "We will always be family and look forward to a continued and loving shared experience as friends and parents."
