AceShowbiz - Is Kimore Lee Simmons heading to Bravo soon? On Thursday, August 25, the supermodel and ex-wife of Russell Simmons took to her Instagram account to share a fun video of her and her look-alike daughter Ming Lee Simmons. Fans, however, were more focused on Kimora's reply to a fan's comment.
In the said clip, the mom-and-daughter duo emphasized their strong resemblance. The adorable transition clip saw Ming trying to take off her black hoodie before wagging the hoodie. The edit then saw Kimora showing up as she looked fine as always in a simple black top.
Fans flooded the comments section with praises with one person writing, "Love y'all Kimora join Housewives PLEASE." The "Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane" star caught wind of the fan's plea and her response would definitely excite the person. Hinting that she's considering joining the Bravo reality TV franchise, she said, "I'm thinking...."
Upon learning of her reply, some fans and fellow stars showed excitement. "If she get on it im watchin," hip-hop musician Tifanny Foxx wrote in a comment underneath The Shade Room's post. Echoing the sentiment, "Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta" star Tommie Lee said, "Omg I would love this."
A fan also noted, "That would be [fire emoji]." Someone else gushed, "She's be great on housewives. I hope that's true." A user, however, seemingly was against of the idea as writing, "not a good idea Kimora *ABORT MISSION*."
That aside, Kimora recently hit back at people criticizing her daughter Aoki Lee Simmons over her decision to take on modeling jobs while studying at America's prestigious Harvard University. Defending her daughter, the TV fashion guru insisted in an interview that the teenager isn't "any less of a student" for following her passions outside of the classroom.
"It's absolutely absurd," the 47-year-old TV star told PEOPLE when asked about the criticism that has been levelled at the 19-year-old student. "We wish Aoki the best and she knows that. So whether it's in front of the camera or behind the scenes … It doesn't make you any more or less of a business person or any more or less of a student or a student of the world or any more or less than a model. It's important to explore all your passions."
The founder of Baby Phat added, "I love it that she's trying to follow in my footsteps. But also I think it's a pain because if I had had some of what they have, maybe I wouldn't have been a model. But I think it's just looking at different sides of a coin. I've done it and I know it's tough and I know it's a little janky. Why would you want to do it? But we love an educated clumsy queen. She is an educated, clumsy queen."
