James Tupper and Thomas Jane send prayers for the 'Another World' actress, who is currently hospitalized due to injuries following the terrifying car crash in Mar Vista earlier this month.

AceShowbiz - Anne Heche's former partners have reacted to the actress' terrifying car crash in Mar Vista, CA earlier this month. James Tupper and Thomas Jane sent prayers for the "Another World" actress, who is currently hospitalized due to injuries from the crash and the fire that it caused.

Alongside a picture of Anne and their 13-year-old son Atlas, James wrote on an Instagram post, "Thoughts and prayers for this lovely woman, actress and mother tonight anneheche." James, who worked with Anne on the ABC show "Men in Trees" and dated her from 2006 until 2018, concluded his post, "we love you."

Thomas, meanwhile, shared a statement to Daily Mail following the crash. Calling Anne "one of the true talents of her generation," he shared to the outlet that he offers his "thoughts and prayers." Anne's "Hung" castmate, who dated the actress in 2019, also revealed that she's "expected to pull through" but remains intubated in the hospital since she's suffering from burns.

Anne was driving a blue Mini Cooper when she crashed into the garage of an apartment complex in the Mar Vista area on Friday, August 5. Some residents reportedly tried to get Anne out of her car but she put it in reverse and then sped off. Not long after that, she crashed into another home, which started a fire that engulfed the building.

"The vehicle was heading east on Preston Way at a high rate of speed, entered the T intersection at Preston Way and Walgrove Ave, ran off the road and collided with the residence in the 1700 block of Walgrove," a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said in a statement. "The vehicle became engulfed in flames and the driver was transported to a local hospital by LAFD."

It seemed like Anne, who came to recognition portraying Vicky Hudson and Marley Love in the soap opera "Another World", was under the influence of alcohol. In a picture taken before the accident, it showed that there was a bottle with a red cap in the car's cup holder but doctors were unable to perform alcohol blood testing with her condition.

Following the fiery car crash, a rep for Anne shared a health update of the 53-year-old star. "Anne is currently in stable condition," the rep said in a statement shared on Saturday. "Her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers and to respect her privacy during this difficult time."
