AceShowbiz - Jack Wagner has broken his silence on his son Harrison's sudden death. More than a month after the latter's passing, the "General Hospital" star extended his gratitude to those who supported him in the wake of the tragic loss.

Making use of Instagram on Friday, July 22, the 62-year-old shared a video of himself at the airport. "Thank you all so much for the love and kindness that you've sent," he said. "I can't tell you how much it's meant to me."

"Getting ready to head up to Vancouver to season 10 of 'When Calls the Heart'. Beyond excited and grateful of that," the actor further noted. "So, thank you also for that and, um, I'll be sending some behind the scenes footage this year. Hopefully it'll make you laugh."

Harrison, whom Jack shared with his ex-wife Kristina Wagner, was found dead at the age of 27 in a parking lot in Los Angeles back in June. "Harrison was pronounced dead in North Hollywood at 5:14 A.M. local time and his cause of his death is currently under investigation," a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner said in a statement at that time.

In the wake of Harrison's death, Jack and Kristina set up a fund for him. "The Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund was created by Jack Wagner and Kristina Wagner in honor of their son Harrison Wagner. Harrison was a bright, exuberant young man whose smile lit up any room he was in. He has left behind many men and family members who loved him deeply," the description on the site read.

"We are heartbroken that he ultimately lost his battle with addiction and we hope that Harrison's memory will live on through this scholarship and will help other young men get help for their addiction that would not otherwise be able to afford it," it added.
