Two years after the NBA legend was killed in a tragic helicopter crash, his widow honors his memory as father and husband through two social media post dedicated for him.

AceShowbiz - Vanessa Bryant celebrated 2022 Father's Day by taking a trip down memory lane. On Sunday, June 19, the widow of Kobe Bryant marked the annual holiday by uploading a photo of her family's visit to her late NBA legend husband's childhood home.

Making use of her Instagram account, the 40-year-old shared in one post a photo of her posing in front of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania property. In the snap, she could be seen smiling ears-to-ears while being joined by her daughters Natalia, Bianka and Capri. In the caption section, she simply wrote, "Round 3."

Along with the photo of Kobe's childhood residence, Vanessa also included an old snap of the late basketball player in his teenager year, looking so happy while playing basketball. The last image in the same post showed Vanessa's painted nails that were decorated with the letters that read "KOBE."

Prior to the childhood home visit post, Vanessa let out a sweet throwback photo of her posing together with Kobe in a Darth Vader T-shirt. In it, her late husband sported a happy grin as he put his arm on her shoulder. "Happy Father's Day, baby," Vanessa wrote, tagging her husband and putting hashtag "BestGirlDad" at the end.

The series of posts were part of Vanessa dedicated posts honoring the memory of Kobe on Father's Day. The NBA legend died two years prior in a tragic helicopter crash that took his life along with their daughter Gianna. The two were among nine people that got killed in the accident taking place in January 2020.

Kobe and the others were reported to be flying to a youth basketball tournament at Mamba Sports Academy. Their transport encountered a thick fog and slammed into a hillside while on the way. The Los Angeles Lakers' ace died at the age of 41, while his daughter Gianna was at the tender age of 13 at the time of the accident.
