AceShowbiz - Roddy Ricch was already upset about his recent arrest in New York City over gun possession, so he seemingly didn't need any negative comments on the matter. "Roddy Ricch is F**KED! why not just have security???? Smh," the user tweeted on Monday, June 13. Roddy was quick to catch wind of the tweet. He then clapped back, "ya moms shoulda swallowed u."

Roddy Ricch hit back at fan mocking him over recent arrest.

The tweet arrived after he publicly called out NYPD following the arrest, which took place just hours before he was scheduled to perform at Governors Ball. During his performance of "ROCKSTAR" at Hot 97 Summer Jam show, the 23-year-old addressed the matter.

During his set, the Compton native asked the crowd, "New Jersey, you ready?", earning a loud cheer in response. After he asked, "Can I hear everybody in here say 'F**k NYPD'?" the patrons chanted along with him before he started singing his songs.

The hip-hop star was taken into custody at a security checkpoint on Saturday night, June 11 after police found a loaded gun inside his vehicle. It was reported that an employee, who was hired for the Citi Field concert, spotted the Canik 9mm under a seat of the 2020 black Cadillac Escalade that he and his pals were in at the security checkpoint around 6:20 P.M.

Roddy was initially charged with four counts of criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device and possession of an unlawful feeding device. The case, however, was dropped "because the gun in question was found on the floor of the car and not on any person" and the "Die Young" hitmaker was released on Sunday.

Of the arrest, an NYPD official told The Post, "The reason we do this checkpoints is for expressly this purpose. We don't want people introducing guns in this venue."
