In screenshots of text messages between the two former lovers, the SKIMS founder assures the 'Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood' star that 'things would hopefully die down.'

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian tried to calm Ray J down after he accused her of spinning the story regarding her leaked sex tape to make him look bad. The singer has shared screenshots of his text messages with the reality TV star which were exchanged after the airing of "The Kardashians" episode in which Kim broke down in tears over a possible second tape with her ex-boyfriend.

In the screenshots, Ray clearly fumed as he accused Kim of using him for promo stunt for her new Hulu series. Claiming that she and her mother Kris Jenner were involved in the release of the X-rated video, he threatened to expose details of their "meetings and the whole lie you and Kris planned since the beginning."

"You've taken too far," the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star blasted his ex. "I don't wanna expose the real s**t that we did but you are leaving me no choice!" he went on claiming. "Why are you trying to ruin me when you know I was just a player in this!"

"I know how promo goes and I get it 100% - but it's got out of control with this new story and my team is on my head thinking it's true," he continued. The 41-year-old particularly took issue with Kim's dildo remark, arguing, "Me sticking a dildo in you're a** while you was (sic) sleep is pretty out of control! It makes me look like a rapist and dirty perv and I'm catching a lot of slack from it."

In her response, Kim wrote she actually "didn't say a single bad thing" about him. She said her reaction in the episode was after "your manager threatened to release another tape that doesn't exist" and her 5-year-old son saw "an ad with my cry face emoji that said 'Kim's new sex tape' as click bate (sic) in Roblox. It was upsetting to have to deal with and I am sure you can understand also how that feels."

As for the dildo joke, she explained, "It was clearly a sarcastic joke and I was laughing when I said it." She continued, "My burn them to the ground comment was a generalization to anyone threatening to hold this over my head 20 years later."

The mother of four later assured Ray that "things would hopefully die down" after the next episode aired, which saw Kanye West bringing her the computer that he got back from Ray. She believed that it "shows [Ray] in a positive light for giving that to him" and she thanked him "for doing that."

"My hope is that after next week when everyone sees that the computer was given back to Kanye that this story will be dead and done with," she stressed, before telling him that her team would clarify the dildo joke to the public. "We will get something out tomorrow morning to clarify that this was a joke and that you would have never done something like this. I'm sorry to hear how this has affected you - it wasn't my intention," she concluded her message.

Nevertheless, Ray has not done shared his side of the story. In an interview with Daily Mail, he said he "felt suicidal" after the sex tape went public. He claimed that he couldn't get certain jobs because of his public "image" at the time. He added, "Because of what they made me, I'm not allowed to be in those places."
