AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner seemingly failed to impress people with her Met Gala 2022 look. Instead of getting praised for showing off her stylish outfit, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum found herself being clowned by Internet users.
In some photos shared on Instagram on Monday, May 2, the 24-year-old makeup mogul rocked an Off-White ruffled wedding dress. "The Kardashians" star paired her look with a backward baseball cap that was attached to the veil.
She captioned the post by writing, "@off____white [a white heart emoji] V. virgil and i were supposed to go to the Met together before it got postponed in 2020. to celebrate V tonight and his incredible legacy truly means the world to me." The mom of two added, "i'm humbled to wear this dress and honor my talented beautiful friend. we felt you tonight Virgil and love you forever & thank u to the entire @off____white team !!"
While some people loved Kylie's costume, many others were left disappointed by it since it didn't match the "In America: An Anthology of Fashion" theme. One person in particular commented underneath her post, "Kylie I'm so mad at you for this." Another fumed, "What the f**k were you thinking with this outfit?"
The criticism continued with one writing, "Sorry kye the hat thing was not goo." A different user penned, "gurl, the cap was unnecessary." Someone else chimed in, "The worst dress u ever have."
Kylie attended this year's Met Gala with her older sister Khloe Kardashian, who made her debut in a stunning Moschino gown. Kourtney Kardashian was also there for the first time. Accompanied by her fiance Travis Barker, the Poosh founder wore a black-and-white outfit.
Kendall Jenner, in the meantime, continued to steal attention in a sheer crop top paired with a dramatic full skirt. Momager Kris Jenner looked elegant in a yellow dress inspired by former First Lady Jackie Kennedy.
