AceShowbiz - Future is going to release a collaboration with Kanye West soon. On Tuesday, April 26, the "Bum Bum Tam Tam" rapper treated fans to a music video trailer for his and his pal's new joint single via Epic Records.
In the 39-second clip, the 44-year-old Yeezy designer can be heard rapping, "Cross me so much, I got nails in my hand/ City on fireā¦ City on fire." The "Mask Off" spitter later appears on the screen, setting off his own verse.
The track originally appeared on an early version of Kanye's "Donda 2", which Future executive produced. However, the song was removed from the project and it will presumably serve as one of the singles off Future's forthcoming album, "I Never Liked You".
Future previously opened up about his friendship with Kanye in his recent interview with GQ. "It's hard for people to understand, because I don't put everything on Instagram," the emcee, whose real name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, explained.
"Kanye flew me to Paris in 2011 or 2012 to work on music. [Discussing] his clothing line before it came, his shoe business before it came," he added. "People don't know I've been able to go to his house, and pull up right into the crib. We just never talked about it."
The 38-year-old also revealed how he reacted when the "Famous" spitter called him "the most influential artist of the past 10 years" on the "Drink Champs" podcast. "When he said that, I understood why he called me to Paris, even though I didn't understand it at that time," he said.
"I understood why we had certain conversations. I understood him being a part of 'I Won'," the former fiance of Ciara continued. "Even him having me write on certain [Kanye] albums that people don't even understand I wrote on."
