In an interview with the magazine, the iconic model reveals that she does not 'spend a lot of time on skin care,' claiming she is usually in a 'rush to get to bed and make love or read.'

AceShowbiz - Lauren Hutton is proving that age is nothing but a number. At 78 years old, six decades into her modeling career, the supermodel went risque by posing topless for the May issue of Harper's Bazaar.

In the gorgeous cover shoot, the iconic model glowingly posed with her arms crossed over to cover up her bare chest. She showed off her signature gap-toothed for the camera while wearing unbuttoned blazer, plaid pants and layered gold necklaces.

Somewhere in the interview, Lauren talked about her simple skincare regime, and admitted that she did not actually "spend a lot of time on skin care." She explained, "I'm usually in a rush to get to bed and make love or read."

"The only beauty ritual I have is washing my face with soap and water. It's horrifying," the 78-year-old model further divulged, "Then I'll put on the StriVectin S.T.A.R. Light Retinol Night Oil. It does really good things for your skin." She also opted to use aloe plant all over her face and chest-area.

As for hair-care, Lauren used castor oil to keep her hair healthy. "It's from a beautiful bean. I use one from Briogeo. I just put it on my fingertips and rub it all over my scalp, and it makes my hair a little less dry and nasty," she told the magazine.

Her simple approach proved to work in her favor. In the shoots for the magazine, her skin looked healthy and gorgeous. One image showed her looking gorgeous while sporting a white blazer, while another one saw her stunning self in a mint green tweed blazer.

When speaking to the magazine, Lauren also recalled her first time working as a model. She confessed that she did not know anything about the modeling industry when she first moved to New York and started working in the 1960s, but worked hard to build her modeling career.

"I got a job modeling for Christian Dior for $50 a week. Once I started working, I made myself an athlete. I uncrossed my eyes," the beauty model spilled. She then remembered that her act made Dick Avedon look up to her from behind his camera and asked her, "Are they straight yet?"

In 1972, Lauren got a career-changing contract with Revlon, which she described as "the biggest one in modeling history" at the time. She later spread her wings and dipped her toes in acting before returning to modeling in her mid-40s.

Lauren also spoke up about cosmetic procedures in the modeling industry. "When it comes to cosmetic procedures, there's a real thin line you tread," she noted. "There are people who I find hard to look at today. Their faces don't look like the people I once knew."

Though spending decades in front of the camera, Lauren admitted that she still feels self-conscious whenever she gets in front of the camera. She explained how modeling is like "playing the violin. You have to practice every day." She shared a tip that helped her to handle that feeling, which was to picture the faces of those she loved and needed.
