In response to the newly-obtained security footage, the North Carolina rapper takes to his Twitter account to share a meme of Tyrese Gibson bawling while asking, 'What more do you want from me?'

AceShowbiz - DaBaby hopes people will leave him alone. After security footage of his fatal Walmart shooting back in November 2018 surfaces online, people started to question the rapper's claims that he shot Jaylin Craig in self-defense. In response to that, the "ROCKSTAR" spitter took to Twitter to apparently downplay the whole thing.

In a tweet on Monday, April 25, DaBaby shared a meme of Tyrese Gibson bawling while asking, "What more do you want from me?" In the caption, meanwhile, the North Carolina native penned, "No disrespect to my boy Tyrese but damn bruh What more do you want from meeee?" In a follow-up post, he added, "The n***as preying on me can't f**k with the people praying for me!"

The MC doubled down on his statement in an Instagram Story post. Alongside the same Tyrese meme, the "KIRK" rapper, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, wrote, "n***a done take 30 million from me , lie on me once a week, want my fine a** BM's to hate me , want me to lose fights I don't start , WHAT MORE DO U WANT FROM MEEE?" He also added several laughing-and-crying face emojis.

While DaBaby seemingly didn't take it seriously, some Internet users appeared to turn their back on him as they did not buy his initial claims that his action was the result of a self-defense act. "ion have no sympathy," someone said in an Instagram comment. "Now Jonathan Ima need you to take some accountability for some of that," another user added.

DaBaby was cleared in the November 2018 murder of Jaylin Craig after he claimed that he was approached by two young men who threatened him with a gun while he was shopping in a North Carolina Walmart with his then-girlfriend Mariah Osborne and their children. However, the new security footage, which was obtained by Rolling Stone, appeared to debunk his claims.

The clip saw the hip-hop star throwing the first punch at Jaylin's friend Henry Douglas. While Henry and DaBaby got into a physical altercation, Jaylin approached them, seemingly attempting to break up the fight. Later in the video, DaBaby was seen sliding onto the floor to pick up a gun before firing the gun off camera.

Speaking with the news outlet, Jaylin's mother, LaWanda Horsley, said of her son's murder investigation, "I feel like they just swept it up under the rug. [DaBaby] knows what he did. I'm not doing this for no fame or anything, because at the end of the day, Jaylin Craig is gone."

Henry, meanwhile, claimed that things took a fatal turn after DaBaby got annoyed at Jaylin, who allegedly walked by the rap star a few times to make sure it was really him. "That's what eventually started it; when he took it the wrong way," Henry recalled. "We were trying to see who you are, and he took it as somebody is looking at him with a problem." Henry claimed that he was about to walk away, but the rapper challenged them to have a fight outside instead.
