The former star of 'Counting On' leaves her fans concerned with her 'thin' appearance months after opening up that she once was 'dangerously on the edge of an eating disorder.'

AceShowbiz - Jinger Duggar has sparked concerns about her well-being with her recent appearance. The former star of "Counting On" left her fans concerned after she looked "painfully thin" nearly a year after opening up about her eating disorder struggles.

Taking to her Instagram account on Sunday, April 17, the 28-year-old reality star uploaded a photo of her posing next to her husband Jeremy Vuolo as they celebrated Easter Day, or she called it Resurrection Sunday. "Happy Resurrection Sunday!" she captioned the snap that saw her wearing a white jumpsuit with a matching belt.

While others wished her to have a good day, some fans expressed their concern about Jinger's "thin" frame. "I worry about Jinger. She is getting painfully thin," one person pointed out. The said person continued, "Maybe she is just very small by nature: I don't ever want to shame someone for having a small body frame. But I know she has a past with an eating disorder and seeing her so very tiny worries me."

Someone else agreed, "Same. I see lots of familiar signs that I hope I'm wrong about." Meanwhile, a separate person opined, "She's looking very gaunt today," adding a sad face emoji. "I worry as well," penned another. "She already had a genetic predisposition and confirmed ED struggles as a teen. Regularly being in LA and being married to image-obsessed Jeremy are both vulnerability factors for a recurrence of her ED. She is looking troublingly thin."

"The way she looks now reminds me of when I was at my worst. No plumpness, void of color, the sunken eyes...all so sad," one social media user shared. "I recently saw a pic of her on here before she was married, and while she was thin, her face had life, color, and health to it."

Jinger divulged her struggles with eating disorder when she was younger in her 2021 book, which she co-authored with her husband, titled "The Hope We Hold: Finding Peace in the Promises of God". "I hated the way I looked," she recalled the "awkward phase" she went through as a teenager. "I was convinced I was fat and getting fatter by the day. 'I'm so ugly,' I scolded my reflection. 'I need to do something about this. I need to be skinny.' "

The "19 Kids and Counting" alum then decided to take drastic measures when she noticed that she'd gained half a pound. In order to lose weight, she ate "fewer meals." She also slept late to skip breakfast without arousing suspicion, ate a "super-light lunch" and then finished with a "healthy snack before dinner."

Jinger later shared that she often went to bed starving. "It seemed reasonable at the time," she penned. "I didn't realize that my little weight-loss plan was teetering dangerously on the edge of an eating disorder."
