The 42-year-old mother of two also teases that she will talk about 'what really went down' in Vegas, when the former NBA player had a near-fatal overdose, in her new book which is titled 'Cutting Trauma Ties'.

AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom's ex Liza Morales is telling her story in a new book. The book, titled "Cutting Trauma Ties", the former star of "Basketball Wives" details the trauma she got along with her relationship with Lamar.

"Lamar was a pivotal point of my life. I have not spoken to him in a year-and-a-half and that's why [the book is] called 'Cutting Trauma Ties' - that title is for a reason," Liza told Page Six. "I did experience a lot of trauma dealing with him."

The 42-year-old, who shares two children with the former NBA star, added, "My kids, my family has experienced a lot of trauma dealing with Lamar in such a public way, but we dealt with his addiction privately for years."

"I am going to talk about what really went down in Vegas," Liza teased, referring to the time when Lamar overdosed in 2015. "And when I say 'what really went down,' I'm talking about if the hospital walls could talk. I'm talking NDAs, hallway fistfights, business conflict of interest … I stayed really, really quiet, but again I felt like it wasn't the right timing."

She also mentioned Lamar's other ex, Khloe Kardashian, saying, "I will talk about the experience [of] trying to get him to go to rehab. This stuff didn't just happen when he was with Khloe… It magnified when he married Khloe but he's had that problem for years. So I will talk about that because it impacted me and impacted our kids so I have no choice not to talk about that."

In response to the upcoming memoir, Lamar said in a statement through his rep, "We would like to wish Ms. Morales all the best in her future endeavors. It is our hope that she has sought healing from any past pains that Mr. Odom may have inflicted upon her in the folly of his youth real or imagined some 15 years ago. He has since went [sic] on to become married, divorced, engaged and newly single in that time span."

Mr. Odom is living his life sober and without apology. He wishes to build a relationship with his now-adult children without the strain of having to engage with their mother. Mr. Odom hopes that her book proves to be cathartic for her, allowing her to move on. Life is too fleeting to be stuck in decades past," the statement continued.

Liza and Lamar started dating when both attended Christ the King High School in Queens, in 1996. While they got engaged in 2000, they never married.

"Cutting Trauma Ties" is set to be released in May via JWG Publishing.
