The 'Holidate' actress and the 'Tron: Legacy' actor, who welcomed their first child together in December 2020, reportedly call it quit because 'they grew apart when [he] was away working.'

AceShowbiz - Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund's "rocky" relationship has allegedly come to an end. One year after welcoming their child together, the "Holidate" actress and the "Tron: Legacy" actor were unveiled to have parted ways, but are said to continue sharing co-parenting duties over their son, Rhodes.

Emma and Garrett's split was reported by multiple outlets. Sources told PEOPLE that they broke up a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, a different source told Entertainment Tonight, that "they are not living together" following the separation.

"Their relationship has been rocky for a long time and the situation is really sad right now," the insider added. "[The two] grew apart when Garrett was away working [but] they are still coparenting, and still doing things as a family."

Emma and Garrett were first linked romantically in March 2019, just one month after she called off her engagement to her "American Horror Story" co-star, Evan Peters. Emma and Garrett welcomed baby Rhodes on December 27, 2020.

Emma sparked breakup rumors with Garrett in November 2021. At that time, she's photographed attending Paris Hilton and Carter Reum's wedding with Britney Spears' longtime manager, Cade Hudson.

Pictures surfacing online showed the former "Scream Queens" star holding hands with her companion as she arrived at the Bel-Air mansion. Her baby daddy, however, was nowhere to be seen around her.

Emma looked stunning in a black dress that she covered with a matching blazer. Cade, for his part, looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo on top of a white shirt with a black bow tie, and black oxford loafers. He topped his look off with small round sunglasses.

At that time, Emma and Garrett have unfollowed each other on Instagram, according to Daily Mail. Moreover, the now-exes were last photographed together back in April at an Oscars Party celebrating Andra Day and the cast of "The United States Vs. Billie Holiday".
