AceShowbiz - First-time mom Zonnique Pullins still needs her mother to protect her from online trolls. After she received backlash over the joke she made about her baby daughter, her mother Tiny Harris a.k.a. Tameka Cottle has come to her defense.
The criticism stemmed from Zonnique's remarks in a TikTok video in which she said that she only had a handful of toys for her one-year-old daughter. The 25-year-old daughter of Tiny and stepdaughter of T.I. quipped that her daughter shouldn't expect to have tons of toys just because her grandparents are T.I. and Tiny.
In the video, Zonnique blurted out the word "b***h," leading to people assuming that she referred to her daughter like that. After The Neighborhood Talk reposted the video on Instagram, one person commented, "I thought she was talking about a dog."
Another reposted the video with a voiceover that said, "I'm concerned. Why Zonnique talking about her daughter like this." Catching wind of the negative comments, Tiny reacted to the post, "U guys reaching again huh! [eye roll emojis]."
When someone defended Zonnique by saying, "I hate the fact that everything gets so blown out of proportion then it be the fake pages with so much to say but won't show their faces," the former Xscape member agreed as writing, "Always‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️"
Another critic, however, pointed out, "Nothing funny about calling your own daughter a b***h and acted like she asked to be born." To this allegation, Tiny stressed, "Gurl, she ain't called that baby no b***h! & she ain't jealous of s**t!!"
Zonnique welcomed her daughter named Hunter Zoelle James in December 2020. She shares the baby girl with her rapper boyfriend Israel "Bandhunta Izzy" James.
