The 'I Like It' hitmaker confirms the death of his dog Bravo by posting a black-and-white video of him introducing the canine to some students in a school bus.

AceShowbiz - Sammie clearly needs a break after going through a rough week. Revealing that he has lost his beloved dog and his uncle, the "I Like It" hitmaker announced he's taking a social media hiatus.

Making use of Instagram on Monday, December 6, the 34-year-old shared a black-and-white video of him introducing his dog to some students in a school bus. He began his caption, "To my baby boy Bravo: had I known that this would be our last walk I would've taken you to the lake so you could get one last swim in. You loved the water."

"I woke up this morning only to realize my dog Bravo passed away in his sleep. This walk was just 2 days ago (no signs of health issues, you were energetic yesterday as well before I went to the studio.) Unsure where I failed you at my boy but I'm sorry," the musician added. "To my followers, my fans, etc. I'm off social media till 2022. I'm burying my Uncle Chris Saturday in Florida (thank y'all for the prayers and condolences)."

"Just said good bye to my Pit Bull Baby Boy Bravo a few hrs ago," the Boynton Beach native went on lamenting. "Getting crossed by so called brothers around me etc (it's a lot going in my life off these social handles). It's truly pruning season for me and though I can't understand it all, Lord I trust you."

Noting that he's been "an emotional wreck these days," Sammie explained, "so Ima self care, align and center myself so I can hit the ground running next year and I wish to do so as a healthy, Godly man. Peace, light and love." He continued, "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all. See y'all in 2022 Lord willing. Anything posted on this page will be via my management. ~ 1 Love, Sammie."

Many have since shown their support for Sammie. One in particular was fellow musician Nick LaVelle, who wrote, "Aye you got it king! Don't weather the storm BE THE F**KIN STORM!! #2022 gon be huge for u not jus wiyh Music but for LIFE!!! I'm so grateful to have connected with u! & praying for better days SOON FOR YA!" Rico Love, meanwhile, sent out several hand praying emojis.
