AceShowbiz - Jazmine Sullivan doesn't want to disappoint her fans. Having noticed complaints from "upset" online users who couldn't buy her "Heaux Tales Tour" tickets due to resellers, the "Pick Up Your Feelings" singer issued her apology on social media.
"I want to address what's happening with my tour tickets. The reality is these are regular people who purchased tickets and are reselling them for a profit," the 34-year-old musician wrote on her Instagram Story. "It's not right but that's what's happening."
Jazmine went on to note that she and her team "don't have control over it because we don't know these people." She further elaborated, "But its part of the reason why we moved into larger venues in 7 cities - to release more tickets for my fans to purchase."
"I just felt like I needed to say something because I hate to see my true fans upset and unable to purchase tickets that they've been waiting for," the Pennsylvania native continued. "I'm so sorry if you weren't able to get tickets this time around."
The statement arrived after Jazmine's fans complained about the ticket sales on Twitter. One user in particular argued, "Whoever bought them Jazmine Sullivan tickets and plan to resell them for 4x the price, F**K YOU!!! I was the one who was there when she was bustin them windows out that car!! I handed her the crowbar!!!"
Another raged, "Not y'all bought up the Jazmine Sullivan tickets for $40 just to resale them for $200 a piece. Y'all will not see heaven!" Someone else then chimed in, "I am still mad I didn't get Jazmine Sullivan tickets, like that's not sitting right with my spirit lol."
Jazmine announced "Heaux Tales Tour" dates less than a week prior. She will kick off the 25-city tour on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2022 at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom and wraps it at House of Blues Chicago on March 30.
