Bella Hadid Admits to Being Embarrassed for Complaining About Not Having Louboutins in High School

Someone reposts on TikTok a video of the supermodel talking about the struggle of not being able to grow up with designer stuffs in high school because her mom Yolanda Hadid didn't allow it.

AceShowbiz - Bella Hadid is not proud of her own comments in her Vogue "Life in Looks" video. In the said video, which was unleashed earlier this year, the supermodel talking about the struggle of not having Louboutins in high school.

Someone reposted that particular part on TikTok and sarcastically said, "Relatable." Bella caught wind of the post and revealed in a comment that she "agreed" it was such a "bad story to tell."

"I never take anything I've ever had for granted, and I feel undeserving of it at all times," she wrote. "But I wore this same pair of shoes that were given to me as a gift for the first three years of my career to every job, every go-see or meeting. The metal is all that's left at the bottom of the heel."

The sister of Gigi Hadid went on to explain, "I'm sorry it sounded pathetic, but 1. Bad story to tell and 2. I agree, I can't listen to myself talk either."

In the Vogue video, Bella opened up about her feelings on various key looks throughout her modeling career. At one point, she reflected on a photo taken in Cannes, France, in which she modeled "a little Chopard earring."

"I never, growing up, had anything designer. My mom wouldn't let me," the daughter of Yolanda Hadid recalled. "I think I got my first pair of Louboutins when I graduated high school. It makes me emotional actually, because I'm so happy in this picture, for the first time in my whole adult life."

"I feel so good about myself, I felt beautiful," she went on to share. "And compared to the girl that I see in the beginning, she was so sad, and she [her 2021 self] is so content and happy."

Concluding her message, the star said, "I love to see that progression, I feel blessed that I made it out alive of that mental state that I was in for so many years."
