The comments are pretty much surprising considering that Kenya and NeNe are beefing throughout their seven shared seasons of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'.

AceShowbiz - Kenya Moore is just like most "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" fans, who want NeNe Leakes to return to the show. In a new interview the "Dancing with the Stars" alum shared that she's loving the idea of NeNe rejoining the cast of the Bravo series.

"I do think that she has a very interesting story to tell now, especially with the unfortunate passing of her husband [Gregg Leakes]," Kenya told PageSix. "If it were up to her fans, they would say, 'Absolutely yes, bring her back.' She was a viable cast member for many, many years."

The Kenya Moore Haircare CEO went on to gush, "She's one of the OGs and you can't take that away from the franchise."

The comments were pretty much surprising considering that Kenya and NeNe were beefing throughout their seven shared seasons. Of the nature of their current relationship, Kenya said, "I think that we're in a decent place. I did go to Gregg's repast and I did think that we had gotten to a place where we felt better about each other and the relationship."

NeNe hinted that she might be rejoining the cast of the Bravo series with some conditions during her recent appearance on "The Real". "I'm OK with returning to the show, as long as, you know, we can work through a few things," NeNe said in the November 3 episode of the talk show. "I'm happy to return to the show and besides, I have a lot of unfinished business with a couple of them they confirmed on the show."

She went on to elaborate, "I think [Andy Cohen] and I were really close for a really, really long time and I love [his son, Ben] Benny Boo. I helped pay for his baby shower and all those things. I think that Andy and I need to have a sit down and talk, and then we're off to the races."

Meanwhile, Andy seemed to be reluctant when asked about the matter. Giving insight into how "complicated" his current relationship with NeNe is, Andy said in a new episode of his SiriusXM radio show "Andy Cohen Live", "What I don't want to do is get into a public thing with her." He added, "I think she would probably prefer that I keep her name out of my mouth and that is what I'm going to honor."

NeNe exited the show in September 2020, saying that she could not reach a deal with Bravo despite a lot of "emotional negotiations." She also accused the network of racial discrimination. "While others were being promoted, BLACK WOMEN who created shows, created genres, built franchise and built networks were being DEMOTED," she tweeted at the time.
