The 'Real Housewives of New York City' alum describes the disastrous festival held by the 'Sicko Mode' rapper as 'Travisty' as she donates $10K to one of the victims.

AceShowbiz - U.S. TV personality Bethenny Frankel has donated $10,000 (£7,387) to a nine-year-old boy who has been placed medically induced coma after being crushed at Astroworld.

Bethenny, who previously appeared on "The Real Housewives of New York City", made the generous donation to the family of Ezra Blount, who was caught up in the crowd surge at Travis Scott's deadly Houston festival.

"I'm reading about this nine-year-old boy, Ezra Blount, who was at that disastrous concert - it should be called a 'Travisty', actually," she said in a close-up video clip.

The star, who also marshalled resources from her BStrong charity to allow fans to donate to other victims of the surge, which left eight people dead, added, "They have a GoFundMe page and they've raised $14,000 (£10,342) dollars."

When WENN went to press, the fundraiser had amassed over $37,000 (£27,332) of its $50,000 (£36,935) goal, and now Bethenny has vowed to do more via her non-profit to help those affected by the tragedy.

She previously penned on Twitter, "It's so tragic.... when something so unnecessary could have been avoided, I obsess incessantly about how to change the course of events."

"This is terribly upsetting," she said before noting her charity was established in the wake of Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. "Hopefully we can help in some small meaningful way. We are focused on a homeless effort but taking time to shift focus here for a moment as it's horrific."

Ezra's family has enlisted civil rights attorney Ben Crump to sue Scott and promoter LiveNation for his injuries and for being forced to see others be injured and killed, according to TMZ.

Papers obtained by the outlet claim that, even if he survives, his injuries will alter his "ability to grow and thrive."
