AceShowbiz - Malu Trevejo announced that she has parted ways with Travis Scott (II)'s Cactus Jack Records less than a month after signing to him. After the "Hasta Luego" singer confirmed her departure, fans believed that Kylie Jenner was behind her exit.
The 19-year-old musician broke the news via Instagram Story. "I wouldn't lie about getting signed to anybody. Things just changed and that's ok Bc tha means something bigger is waiting for me. I don't gotta lie ask the man himself. How many times he said he belive in me and he wanted to help me. Stop spreading lies," she first stated, addressing accusations that she faked the label signing.
"I had a 2 hour conversation with him crying and hugging him he knows and he knows I ain't lied about anything," the Cuban-born star added. "At the end of the day what he told me a lot of times make me more confident with myself and I appreciate the time I spent with him made me realize a lot."
Malu went on to note, "It was good until it last. Still mad love for u... Anyways wanna thank @atlanticrecords for having me in their team its about to get crazy got so much music coming up [black heart emoji] that's never stopping." She concluded her message by sending love to "Travis and his team," saying that she's now "moving forward to better things."
Fans have since believed that Malu decided to quit Travis' label because of his baby mama, Kylie. One person in particular opined, "Kylie nipped that In a bud quick, fast & in a hurry." Another chimed in, "She doesn't sit well with kylie's spirit."
A third, meanwhile, quipped, "Kylie, I see what you did there." Someone else echoed the sentiment, "I'm sure Kylie has something to do with this." A different user, meanwhile, assumed, "Let me find out Kylie is insecure."
The news arrived amid rumors suggesting that Kylie and Travis have tied the knot. The pregnant "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum sparked the speculations after she showed off her and daughter Stormi's matching diamond rings on Instagram. The couple, however, has yet to confirm the rumors.
