Bravo producer Andy Cohen has officially announced a new 'Real Housewives' spin-off and chosen a city in United Arab Emirates to launch the upcoming international show.

AceShowbiz - Bravo's "Real Housewives" franchise is moving to Dubai for its latest season.

Andy Cohen announced on Monday (01Nov21) that the network would air its first original international iteration of the series during an appearance on America's "Today" show.

He said in a statement, "Everything's bigger in Dubai, and I couldn't be more excited to launch Bravo's first international Housewives series in a city I've been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides."

"This is going to blow the lid off of the entire franchise," the executive producer added on Today.

According to a synopsis, "The Real Housewives of Dubai" - set to air in 2022 - will follow a "group of women navigating their relationships, careers, and supremely lavish and ultra-wealthy lifestyles in the United Arab Emirates".

"With the desert paradise of Dubai as the backdrop, this billionaire's playground is known for its over-the-top opulence, jaw-dropping modern architecture and wild nightlife scene," it says.

"Whether they're coasting on a private plane, running their own empires or hosting on a private island, these glamourous, successful women are ready to serve up scorching hot drama and unexpected twists."

Another international installment of "Real Housewives" is set in U.K. "The Real Housewives of Cheshire" has entered season 14.

Another successful spin-off is "Vanderpump Rules" which follows "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump and the staff at her restaurant.
