The 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star explains that when she danced the Contemporary to 'How Far I'll Go' from 'Moana' with Brandon Armstrong, she landed on her two bottom ribs.

AceShowbiz - Kenya Moore was left injured on the "Disney Heroes Night" of "Dancing with the Stars". In a new interview, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star revealed that she thought she broke her ribs because she was in "excruciating pain."

In the Monday, October 11 episode, Kenya and her partner Brandon Armstrong danced the Contemporary to "How Far I'll Go" from "Moana". However, the final lift didn't go as planned as she told reporters, "When I jumped on him, I think I just landed wrong. I landed on my two bottom ribs, and I thought I broke them."

"In fact, in the air, I was sure I broke my ribs. I just went [gasp] and I couldn't breathe," Kenya added, before revealing that she could no longer bear the "excruciating pain." She detailed, "Later, I was like, 'Brandon, I got to go to urgent care and get an x-ray. I think I broke my ribs."

"So, the doctor came today, and I'm OK. He said it's just going to take some time. And yeah, the show is very helpful [with] just making sure that I was OK. But I'm in a lot of pain," the TV personality further explained. "Poor Brandon! He's like, 'Oh, did I hurt you? did I hurt you?' "

Despite the incident, "The Celebrity Apprentice" alum was happy that she could finish her performance. "When you dance with the pain, you know, we dance through it," she shared. "And that's what I think champions are made of too - just having that focus and making sure that nothing gets in your way."

Meanwhile, in the second Disney Night, which celebrated Disney villains, Kenya and Brandon paid tribute to "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" with their Viennese Waltz to Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman". Despite being in the bottom three, the couple was saved by the judges.
