In between Wood's studio sessions with his Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, the surviving trio work together on new material for the first time in nearly 50 years.

AceShowbiz - Ronnie Wood, Rod Stewart, and Kenney Jones are recording new music as the Faces for the first time in nearly 50 years.
Although the surviving bandmates have reunited a few times live in recent years, their last album of new material before splitting in 1975 was 1973's "Ooh La La".
"Me, Rod, and Kenney have been recording some new Faces music," Wood told The Times' Weekend magazine.
Original Faces members Ronnie Lane and Ian McLagan have both passed away.
The remaining trio has been recording together in between Wood's studio sessions with his The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.
"I saw Mick here last week and Rod and Kenney were here yesterday," said Wood. "Me and Mick have done nine new tracks for the [40th anniversary] re-release of [Stones album] Tattoo You [sic]."
The guitarist - who is also working with former Stones bandmate Mick Taylor on a tribute album to blues legend Jimmy Reed - continued, "I've had a front-row seat on some amazing rock 'n' roll projects these past couple of weeks."
Stewart, Wood and Jones more recently reunited to perform at a charity show in 2015, stage a private gig in 2019, and make a brief appearance at the 2020 Brit Awards.
During his Weekend magazine chat, Woods also spoke about his battle with small-cell cancer during last year's (2020) U.K. COVID lockdown.
"I'm well. I'm strong. And I'm adaptable," he shared. "But it has taken a lot of fighting, a lot of stamina to get through it."
He said the illness was "scary," but he's determined to make the most of every day for the sake of his youngest children, five-year-old twins Alice and Gracie, with his wife Sally. "Ultimately, especially with having my twins, you just want to make every day precious," he added.
