AceShowbiz - Hotboii, real name Javarri Latre Walker, has surrendered to police in Orange County, Florida. After officials issued a warrant for his arrest on an array of RICO charges, the "Don't Need Time" singer finally turned himself in.
On Monday, July 12, the 21-year-old announced on Instagram Story, "I turn myself in tonight." He was then booked by the Orange County Sheriff's Office and slapped with charges of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization and Racketeering and Conspiracy to Commit Racketeering connection to a larger RICO investigation.
Hotboii is currently being detained on a $750,000 bond and his projected release date has yet to be determined. The MC is among 34 people who are facing racketeering or drug trafficking-related charges stemming from an investigation called Operation X-Force. It involved the sheriff's office, Orlando police, the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation, FBI, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Hotboii is reportedly a member of the 438 Gang, which operates out of the Silver Star Road area. The gang allegedly has been in a feud with the Army Gang, of which fellow rapper 9lokknine is reportedly a member. Investigators stated that the feud between the two gangs has led to shootings, robberies and sometimes innocent lives lost.
9lokknine himself has been arrested since June 21 on similar charges. He also received the same bond as Hotboii. The "10 Percent" hitmaker, however, was said to have reached a plea agreement. WESH 2 reported that he pleaded guilty to three weapons charges and faces up to 32 years in prison.
9lokknine allegedly has been arrested 52 times. It included July 2020 arrest in which he was charged with attempted second-degree murder with a firearm, shooting into an occupied building or structure and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after allegedly firing a gun into an Orlando home in an attempt to target another rapper.
