AceShowbiz - Christina Haack is opening up about her experience with the unusual substance that she called "life-changing." As she took to Instagram Story on Sunday, July 11, the real estate investor and TV personality shared about her experience smoking psychedelic toad venom.

"A lot of people asking about the bufo toad venom," she wrote on her Instagram Story as she attached a video of Mike Tyson discussing the matter. "Smoking the bufo toad venom is a life changing experience and different for every person. It can't be summed up in a post."

The 38-year-old "Flip or Flop" star went on to say, "My experience felt like my ego was being ripped away from me - a much needed 'ego death.' "

Toad venom is the secretion of Bufo Alvarius toads which contain bufotenine and 5-MeO-DMT, two substances known for their psychedelic properties. Inhaling the vapors of the toad's secretion helps ease feelings of depression and stress, while bufotenine and 5-MeO-DMT are considered controlled substances by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

In other news, the "Christina on the Coast" star shared a few intimate snaps featuring her and her 33-year-old man during their Mexican getaway. In one of the pictures, the pair could be seen snuggling up together while standing in the water of a cave. The other picture, meanwhile, saw them sharing a romantic kiss. "Cenotes," so she captioned the PDA-filled snap.

Prior to this, Christina reflected on her relationship with her new boyfriend as she defended the age gap between her and Joshua. "I met Josh when I wasn't in a state of fear or fight-or-flight … I had taken time off social, hired a spiritual coach and smoked a Bufo toad," she shared on Thursday. "It basically reset my brain and kicked out years of anxiety in 15 mins."

The HGTV personality added that she and Josh will not be "looking at all the nonsense online." She further explained, "I may be a bit crazy and im definitely not perfect but I will never live my life based on other peoples judgments or opinions. We pride ourselves on never judging others and always wanting others to be happy and we wish others would have the same respect."

Christina also said that after meeting Joshua this past spring, "the synchronicities hit us so hard and fast they were impossible to ignore." She continued, "We've had a few solid months of just us getting to know each other and I've loved every second of it, so yes 'another relationship' and guess what. I'm 38 -I'll do what I want."
