The Miranda Hobbes depicter is seen ditching her TV character's signature red hair and go platinum blonde for the much-anticipated series 'And Just Like That…'

AceShowbiz - Cynthia Nixon has changed her trademark red locks to blonde for the upcoming "Sex & the City" reunion series.

In a new image from the upcoming HBO Max series, "And Just Like That…", the women look much the same as they did in the original show, though their attire is more conservative than the sexy outfits the ladies used to sport in "Sex and the City".

"And Just Like That" reteams Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) "as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s."

Original series stars Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, and Evan Handler will all return for the new project while "Grey's Anatomy" 's Sara Ramirez is a new member of the cast.

Original co-star Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha, will not be involved in the project, as an HBO executive explained in February (21), "Just as in real life, people come into your life, people leave. Friendships fade, and new friendships start. So I think it is all very indicative of the real stages, the actual stages of life."

The original "Sex and the City" series first launched in 1998 and concluded in 2004 after six seasons. It got a movie version in 2008 and a sequel in 2013. In the same year, a prequel series "The Carrie Diaries" starring AnnaSophia Robb as a young Bradshaw came out. It ended after only two seasons.
