According to the owner of restaurant Nari, someone from the 'Follow God' rapper's crew claimed that the group was from Noma, a Danish chef Rene Redzepi-owned restaurant, to make a dinner reservation.

AceShowbiz - Despite Kanye West's worldwide fame, his team apparently couldn't rely on his reputation to secure a table at a restaurant. A member of the rapper's crew has been accused of lying to make a last-minute reservation at a San Francisco restaurant.

According to Pim Techamuanvivit, chef and owner of Nari, an acclaimed San Francisco Thai destination, someone from the Yeezy designer's team name-dropped world famous Noma to book a table for six. The team member claimed the group was from the restaurant owned by Danish chef Rene Redzepi, only to leave her staff disappointed when they learnt who the actual guests were.

"The other night somebody dropped @ReneRedzepiNoma's name for a 6-top on the fly at Nari and in walked Kanye," Pim shared on her Twitter page on Thursday, July 1. "Some of my cooks were disappointed." She said that she jokingly confronted them, writing, "I did go to the table and asked, so which one of you worked for my friend Rene? Oh yes I did."

Pim Techamuanvivit claimed Kanye West's team lied to make a dinner reservation.

Speaking further to The San Francisco Chronicle, Pim said the member of Kanye's team said, "It's going to be a table of Noma people." Of her staffers reaction, she shared, "A couple (employees) were very, very fangirl-excited."

As soon as the group arrived, a woman with the party asked for "the most secluded table possible," and they were ushered into the semi-private room. It didn't take long for the staffers to figure out that the "Noma people" weren't coming and they realized that Kanye was among the diners at the special table.

Regardless their disappointment, Pim had nothing but good things to say about Kanye and his entourage. "They were very normal, not loud, not demanding-just perfectly polite people happy to eat the food," the chef described. "Definitely not what you might think of as rockstar people."
