AceShowbiz - Mark Hoppus has offered an update on his medical treatment. After revealing that he has been diagnosed with cancer, the Blink-182 bassist and vocalist admitted to feeling "better" amid chemotherapy that made him feel like a "poisoned electrified zombie."

The 49-year-old musician opened up about his health condition during a 45-minute Twitch stream on Sunday, June 27. "How am I feeling today? I feel much better than yesterday. Yesterday was hellish for me and I woke up today feeling better," he shared. He continued, "I didn't just feel like a poisoned electrified zombie leaning up against an electric fence like I did the rest, the past couple of rounds," adding that he "can't go anywhere right now" due to chemotherapy.

"I wanted to go to the Dodgers last night, I can't. I want to go hang out with friends and go to a restaurant, I can't," Mark claimed. The rocker also revealed that his white blood cell count was so low that he was unable to leave his house. "My white blood cell count is way too low for me to go out so I am stuck trying to get better. That's alright, I'll take it," he elaborated.

Elsewhere in the livestream, Mark highlighted his major improvement. "I went for a walk, and I had a decent breakfast, and I haven't felt like I was going to throw up today. So, we'll take it as a win," he stated.

"This round of chemo, I wasn't totally stuck on the couch, miserable," Mark pointed out. "I've actually watched movies and walked around and cleaned the house and hung out with my dogs."

Mark first revealed about his cancer diagnosis on Wednesday, June 23. As he took to his Instagram Stories, he penned, "For the past three months I've been undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. I have cancer." He went on to share his feelings, "It sucks and I'm scared, and at the same time I'm blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this." However, he has yet to confirm what type of cancer he is battling.
