The Caleb Jermale-directed clip starts with Durk and Baby riding their luxurious car through the nighttime streets as they are joined with their entourage. Once they hit up an alley, the 28-year-old MC begins rapping his verse.
The two then take over a strip club where the "Should've Ducked" spitter shoots cash from a gun made out of money. He rhymes, "I got the money, so who I'm running from?/ I got a lawyеr that cost a honey bun/ Before I buy p***y, I buy a hundred guns/ Judge told me a n***a died with my gun."
"Stop playing, b***h, I'm Smurk/ B***h get naked, gotta put on my merch/ I got your Uber, I kept my word/ She freak, acting like she a nerd/ No shirt when I'm off this Perc'/ They slide every time we hurt," he continues rapping in the chorus. "Lost bro, I know it hurt/ We gon' catch him first."
"Man of My Word" is one of the tracks from Baby and Durk's joint album "The Voice of the Heroes", which debuted at No. 1 of Billboard 200 album chart earlier this month. Released on June 4, the hip-hop set has earned 150,000 total album-equivalent units from streams.
Just days before dropping the music video, Baby announced "The Back Outside Tour" with Durk, which kicks off on September 1 in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Unveiling the tour schedule on Instagram, he raved, "More Dates Few More Cities To Be Added !! Get Tickets Now I Heard They Movinggggggg. LINK IN BIO Goooooooo @lildurk Let's Get Em Bro !!"
