AceShowbiz - Channing Tatum has shown his love to his daughter with ex-wife Jenna Dewan publicly. After years of keeping Everly Elizabeth Maiselle away from the spotlight, the "Magic Mike" actor finally debuted his first ever photo with his little girl using a sweet social media post.

On Thursday, June 24, the 41-year-old actor turned to Instagram to share the rare photo of him posing together with his 7-year-old daughter on a beach. Along with the adorable snap, he wrote a heartfelt caption for her. "You my littles are everything!" he gushed over his kid. "You are my world and my heart."

Channing additionally told the story behind the sweet picture, "You were looking at the full moon in this pic and telling me the prophecy of the full moon mermaid and then we ran into the water." The "21 Jump Street" star recalled that they searched for the mermaid in the water. "[We] looked for her and played with glow sticks in the night water calling out to the mermaids," he spilled.

"You said you touched a bald headed mermaid and saw a tail," the actor, who made his breakthrough with the dance film "Step Up", continued. He ended his dedication post by writing, "Haha one day you will read this and i hope [you] laugh. We have fun hehehe."

Months earlier, Channing talked about fatherhood in an interview with Parents. "When I became a single father, I had a lot of fear about connecting to Everly in every way that a little girl might want," the leading man in "Dear John" shared. "I want dads not to be afraid to go into their daughter's world and discover who they are."

"I didn't wear nail polish or know how to braid hair," Channing reflected. He went on to add, "But now I do both. I jumped with both feet into this magical world, and I was rewarded with a kind of love that I don't think I would have ever been able to have otherwise."
