During her appearance on SiriusXM's 'Gayle King in the House' following the highly-anticipated special, the actress recalls how she felt about the reunion which took place 17 years after the show ended.

AceShowbiz - Just like other cast members as well as fans, Jennifer Aniston felt nostalgic when filming "Friends: Reunion". During her appearance on SiriusXM's "Gayle King in the House" following the highly-anticipated special, the actress recalled how she felt about the reunion which took place 17 years after the show ended.

"It was a sucker punch in the heart in a way," the Rachel Green depicter shared. "It was for all of us, I think. Even [Courteney Cox] we got tears out of."

Jennifer noted that she, Courteney, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc were "very naive in what we were expecting" from the reunion which was filmed at Stage 24 at the Warner Bros. Studio. She added that she and her co-stars immediately got overwhelmed with emotion when noticing the same props and "tchotchkes" used in the original series.

"We romanticized it, but you also have to remember we haven’t been there [since the series finale]," the "Morning Show" star admitted. "And that time was a very specific time, when we were saying goodbye to something that we didn't want to, we cared deeply about, but we knew it was the time to say goodbye. Our lives were ahead of us. We had our future ahead of us."

She added, "It almost felt like time had stopped and we time traveled. And there's good in that, and then there's heartbreak in that."

In the reunion, Jennifer and other cast members talked about beloved guest stars, including Jennifer's ex Brad Pitt, who had made appearances on the show. "We had amazing guest stars," David recalled in the new HBO Max reunion special. "Couldn't believe all these people, who we were massive fans of [were on our show]."

Referring to the "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood" actor, David said to Jennifer, "And your fella, Brad." To that, she responded, "Pitt came and did one."

Jennifer and David also shocked fans when they revealed that they had "major crush" to each other during the first season of the hit series. "At some point, we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship, and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that, but we both...," David said.

He then wondered, "And I'm thinking, 'How do not everyone know we're crushing on each other?' " However, Matthew and Courteney corrected David, saying that they actually knew about it.
