The 'Poster Girl' singer reveals she exposed her 88-year-old relative to coronavirus when she and her family went against Covid guidance to visit the elderly late last year.

AceShowbiz - Zara Larsson's birthday visit gave her grandmother Covid.

The "Poster Girl" star tells The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column she and her family went against guidance to visit her 88-year-old relative in December (20).

"I hadn't seen her for the year," says the "Ruin My Life" singer. "It was her birthday on December 27 so we were like, 'F**k it, we're going to see her,' because she's 88 and she had been by herself the whole year."

"Then on the way back I was like, 'I feel a little sick,' " she recalls. "We gave grandma corona. We were super worried. But she was fine and didn't get sick at all."

However, Zara insists, "She's still alive and thriving. I felt really guilty, though."

Zara Larsson was not the only star missing dear grandmother during Covid-19 lockdown.

Joey King, who was unable able to have contact with her grandma Elaine since March last year, was so happy when she finally got to visit the elderly relative in November. She, however, made sure it's safe by donning a dinosaur costume when they hugged.

It was apparently her grandmother's birthday as Joey's mum Jamie penned, "@joeyking figured out a way to give her grandma her first hug since March!!! @redsfarrar Happy Birthday to the matriarch of this family."

"You taught us all how to be strong, thoughtful woman," she continued, adding, "You are the best mother of the mother!!"
