The footage that features the 'Born This Way' singer, the 'Yummy' hitmaker, and the Bangtan Boys has been censored by China in order for the TV special to air in the country.

AceShowbiz - Segments featuring BTS, Lady GaGa, and Justin Bieber have been cut from the "Friends" reunion special in China.

Censors have decided not to air Gaga's "Smelly Cat" duet with Lisa Kudrow, a tribute from K-pop band BTS, and Bieber's appearance in a "Friends" fashion show when the special airs in China.

The stars are disliked by Chinese officials for insulting the nation in the past.

Bieber was banned from the country in 2017 by government officials, who called him "gifted" but "controversial," adding, "As far as we are concerned, he has engaged in a series of bad behaviours, both in his social life and during a previous performance in China, which caused discontent among the public."

BTS upset officials after they failed to mention the sacrifices of Chinese soldiers during the Korean War during an acceptance speech in 2020, and Gaga's meeting with the Dalai Lama in 2016 irked leaders, who consider him to be a threat. He has been fighting for Tibetan separatism since the 1950s.

Meanwhile, one of "Friends" original cast members Matt LeBlanc insisted on a cast huddle before each episode of the show after dislocating his shoulder in a scene after he and his co-stars missed their traditional hug.

The castmates recalled the shoot when LeBlanc injured himself leaping into an armchair, and he still insists it was all because they didn't have their lucky pre-show huddle.

"I went to jump over the coffee table and tripped and somehow my legs went up in the air and my shoulder came out of the socket," he recalled while filming HBO Max and Sky's "Friends: The Reunion" special, which shows the scene in which Matt, as Joey Tribbiani, was injured.

The camera kept rolling as LeBlanc yelled in pain offset and co-star David Schwimmer called for medical assistance.

Matt had to be taken to the hospital, where his arm was put in a sling and his injury had to be written into the show.

And he is convinced the injury happened because there was no pre-show huddle.

"There was one thing that we did every show that we didn't do that night... That's the one time we didn't do it," he added.

"After that we always did it," castmate Lisa Kudrow said.
