The upcoming season of 'Cobra Kai' will see the return of a familiar face while the 'Set It Up' couple are set to have an onscreen reunion in a new romcom.

AceShowbiz - Actor Thomas Ian Griffith is poised to reprise his role as "The Karate Kid Part III" villain for the next season of spin-off series "Cobra Kai".

Griffith made his movie debut as Cobra Kai dojo co-founder Terry Silver in the 1989 drama, and now he is set to don his gi once more to join the TV cast of season four.

"Since the beginning of the series, we've been carefully orchestrating the right moment to unleash Cobra Kai dojo co-founder Terry Silver back into the universe. That moment is now," executive producers and writers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg shared in a joint statement.

"We can't wait for the whole world to experience Thomas Ian Griffith's majestic return to the franchise."

The Netflix hit will reunite Griffith with original franchise star Ralph Macchio, who also serves as an executive producer of the series.

Season four is expected to debut later this year (21).

Meanwhile, Zoey Deutch is working on a new romcom with her "Set It Up" co-star Glen Powell.

Although the 26-year-old actress has confirmed there will be no direct sequel to the 2018 Netflix rom-com, which follows overworked and underpaid assistants Harper Moore (Zoey) and Charlie Young (Glen), as they come up with a plan to get their bosses off their backs by setting them up with each other, it's not the last time the pair will be on screen together.

Appearing on SiriusXM's "The Jess Cagle Show, Zoey said when asked if a second movie is possible, "There currently is not a Set It Up 2."

However, she added, "There is another film with the writer of Set It Up, Katie Silberman, and myself and Glen Powell. We're all doing another movie together with Netflix. So, there is another romcom coming from us."

And when pressed on when fans can expect to flick to arrive on their TV screens, she promised, "Soon, I know it's been a while. We just wanted to perfect it. We didn't want to like, you know, it's about quality over quantity."
