The 'Crazy Rich Asians' star shares the first picture of them as a family of three following the arrival of their newborn baby, while the blogger unveils intimate snaps of her during labor.

AceShowbiz - Henry Golding and Liv Lo are officially first-time parents. The Malaysian-British actor/model and his wife have welcomed their first child and he credited her strength for bringing them the "greatest joy."

Making use of his Instagram account to deliver the good news on Monday, April 5, the Nick Young in "Crazy Rich Asians" movie adaptation posted a black-and-white picture of his family of three. The new father is seen smiling widely while looking into the baby's face as the infant was sleeping soundly on the mother's chest.

"This woman right here. Beyond anything I could have ever imagined," Henry gushed over his wife in the caption. He continued, "Your strength brought us our greatest joy. Thank you, I love you."

Liv also took to her own social media account to announce the baby's arrival. She revealed that their child was born last week, on Wednesday, March 31 to be precise, though she stopped short from disclosing the baby's gender and name.

"On March 31st our lives changed forever," she wrote. Along with it, she shared several snaps of her during the labor period and a close-up look at her baby's tiny hand holding her finger. The last image showed part of the baby's face.

Through the post, the blogger also informed her followers that she will be taking a maternity leave. "Link in bio of leaving Instagram for #maternityleave (for the time being)," she added. "I'll prob be up during midnight breastfeeds checking in on you, but otherwise 'I'll be back' xx."

She further explained in her blog post about her decision to take a break from social media during the postpartum period. "40 days, or about 6 weeks postpartum, is the first postpartum exam with your OBGYN. Until this clearance happens I am not keen to get back to work or sharing with the world how I am feeling," she elaborated. "This may come as a shock or disappointment; however, in my self-reflection, it has become clear that I need to set these boundaries for myself and my family."

Henry and Liv tied the knot in Sarawak, Malaysia in August 2016. In November 2020, the couple announced they're expecting their first child. "2021 is already looking brighter," the "Last Christmas" star captioned images of him and the fitness guru posing atop a bridge while she flaunted her baby bump in a fitted dress.
