The 'Double Life' star and wife Trisha Yearwood have tested negative for Covid-19 following concerns they were exposed to the killer virus after a drive-in concert.

AceShowbiz - Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have been given the COVID all-clear after testing negative for the killer virus.

The country couple postponed plans to stage a livestreamed acoustic concert via Facebook last week (07Jul20) amid concerns a member of Garth's team had been exposed to the coronavirus.

A statement assured devotees the pair was feeling "fine" and explained the delay was simply "out of an abundance of caution."

"To be smart about this, they are all quarantining for two weeks and thank everyone for their concern," a spokesman said.

Brooks revealed he and Trisha had tested negative during their weekly Inside Studio G livestream on Monday night (13Jul20).

"We all tested," the Friends in Low Places singer explained. "Everybody tested negative, including the possible exposure, which ended up not being a possible exposure... So we're back."

The postponed acoustic show has now been rescheduled for next week (beg20Jul20), but Garth and Trisha were back behind the microphone for Tuesday's #GarthRequestLive2 show online.

Prior to the coronavirus scare, Brooks hosted a drive-in concert, which was beamed to open-air cinema sites across the U.S.
