AceShowbiz - The racial injustice leaves a big task for parents, especially black parents, as they need to explain to their kids about police brutality and teach them how to behave around cops. Kandi recently revealed that she had an emotional conversation with her son Ace that police could also be the "bad guys."

During her appearance in the Wednesday, June 10 episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen", "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star recalled the moment. That prompted her to choke on tears while recalling the conversation which started after his 4-year-old son chose to be a policeman on career day.

"And so my husband was trying to explain to him, you know, what was going on and why everybody was so upset and what was happening with the police," the singer said. "Ace was confused. He was like, 'So, the police are the bad guys?' "

"Now isn't that crazy to have to explain that to a four-year-old?" she went on saying, adding, "For you to be black and have to worry about the police being the bad guys." The Xscape singer admitted that she cries all the time, "but that's an emotional thing for me."

As she looked at Andy who was also close to tears, Kandi told him, "And Andy, I know you care about us, but you don't have to think about that. That's something that we have to think about for our sons."

In the episode, Kandi also revealed that her daughter Riley Burruss had a strong reaction to the recent Black Lives Matter protests. "She was like, 'Okay, I am unfollowing every single friend or person that is non-black who is not speaking up about this, who's not showing they're an ally with our community," Kandi said of the 17-year-old.
